Debashish Chakrabarty is an artist and author. He was born and grew up in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. A photography graduate of the capital’s Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. Through science and arts, he explores the plasticity of the human mind. His recent works revolve around power relations and civil imagination. He looks closely at the state mechanism, power, and production relations to reflect on the human conditions. He has been using diverse kinds of optical, photographic, and drawing techniques to narrate stories that reflect various degrees of human experiences.
